Why it works
How the dual-brush system removes embedded pet hair

Our roller uses two counter-rotating brushes that work like tiny fingers pulling fur out of fabric weave. Roll forward and the first brush lifts hair toward the surface; roll backward and the second brush captures it into the waste chamber.

Maintenance & cleaning the roller brushes

Emptying the fur chamber

Press the release button on the side and the front panel swings open. Tap the unit over a trash bin and the collected hair falls out in one clump. The chamber holds approximately two tablespoons of fur before it needs emptying.

Washing the brushes

When the rollers accumulate oils from fabric or start to look matted, pull them off the axle pins and rinse under warm running water. Shake off excess water and snap them back into place. They air-dry in minutes.

Best surfaces & fabrics for the Chom Chom Roller

The tool excels on mid-pile upholstery like cotton, linen, microfiber, and polyester blends. Pet beds with fleece or Sherpa linings release fur in one or two passes. Car seats with fabric inserts clean up faster than vacuuming.

For low-pile surfaces like dress pants or thin cotton sheets, use lighter pressure and shorter strokes. On high-pile materials like shag rugs or chunky knit throws, press firmly and overlap your strokes to reach hair buried deep in the fibers.

Finally ditched sticky rollers for good
I have two German Shepherds and was spending fifteen dollars a month on lint roller refills. This thing paid for itself in six weeks. I keep one in the car and one next to the couch, and I haven’t bought a sticky sheet since April.

Works better than my vacuum on the couch
My vacuum has a pet attachment, but it’s loud and the cord doesn’t reach my sectional without unplugging lamps. The Chom Chom grabs fur my vacuum misses, and I can do a whole couch in under five minutes while watching TV.

Cat hair nightmare solved
We have three long-haired cats and beige furniture. I was vacuuming daily and still seeing fur. Now I hit the couch with this roller every other day and it actually stays clean. The fur chamber fills up fast, which tells me it’s working.

Game changer for car seats
My dog rides in the back seat on every errand, and the fabric seats were covered in black lab fur. I tried every brush and lint roller at the pet store. This is the first thing that actually pulled the hair out instead of smearing it around.

Simple design that actually lasts
I’ve had mine for over a year and it still grabs hair like it did the first week. No moving parts to break, no batteries to die. I rinse the rollers once a month and that’s all the upkeep it needs.

Saves me money and cabinet space
I used to stockpile lint roller refills because I’d always run out at the worst time. Now I have one tool that never runs out. It freed up a whole drawer in my laundry room, and I’m saving seventy bucks a year on refills.

Good to know

Common questions about the Chom Chom Roller

It depends on how much hair your pet sheds and how large a surface you’re cleaning. On average, the chamber fills after cleaning one standard couch or two car seats. You’ll see fur pressing against the clear window when it’s time to empty.

Press the side release button over a trash bin and the hair drops out in a compact clump. The whole process takes five seconds.

The synthetic rubber rollers are soft enough for most home fabrics, including cotton, polyester, microfiber, and linen blends. We recommend testing on an inconspicuous area first if you’re using it on vintage upholstery, silk, or loosely woven materials.

For delicate fabrics, use lighter pressure and slower strokes. The brushes won’t snag unless you press hard on a fabric that’s already fraying or damaged.

Yes, it removes short hair from breeds like Beagles and Boxers, medium coats from Labs and Golden Retrievers, and long fur from Persian cats, Huskies, and German Shepherds. The dual-brush system adapts to different hair lengths because it uses mechanical action rather than static cling.

Fine undercoat fur from double-coated breeds sometimes requires a second pass, but the roller captures it just as effectively as guard hairs.

Pull the roller brushes off the center axle pins and rinse them under warm running water. Use your fingers to work out any matted fur or fabric oils. Shake off excess water and snap the rollers back into place.

The ABS plastic body can be wiped down with a damp cloth. Let the brushes air-dry for a few minutes before storing the tool. Most users rinse the rollers every two to four weeks depending on use frequency.

No, the roller is designed for fabric surfaces where hair embeds into fibers. Hardwood, tile, laminate, and other smooth floors don’t provide enough texture for the brushes to grip.

For hard floors, a microfiber dust mop or electrostatic sweeper works better. The Chom Chom excels on upholstery, bedding, car interiors, stairs, and clothing where vacuums and brooms struggle.

With normal use, the roller lasts multiple years. The ABS plastic body is impact-resistant, and the synthetic rubber brushes don’t degrade from repeated washing. We’ve heard from customers still using units they bought three and four years ago.

The only wear point is the axle pins that hold the rollers in place. If those ever loosen, replacement roller sets are available separately.

Yes, pet beds are one of the best use cases. Fleece, Sherpa, and faux fur pet bed covers release hair easily with the Chom Chom because the pile depth gives the brushes plenty of material to work with.

For heavily soiled beds, shake off loose debris first, then roll the Chom Chom in overlapping strokes. You’ll see the fur chamber fill quickly. Blankets and throws work the same way, especially microfiber and fleece materials.
