Pocket Lint Roller – Compact, Reusable Pet Hair Remover
We designed the pocket lint roller for people who refuse to leave the house covered in pet hair but don’t want to lug around a full-size tool. This compact roller delivers the same patented dual-brush system our customers love in the original Chom Chom, scaled down to fit a coat pocket, purse, or center console.

The pocket roller uses two counter-rotating nylon bristle brushes inside a polycarbonate housing. When you roll the tool across fabric, the first brush lifts hair and lint from the weave while the second brush sweeps debris into the internal chamber. Spring tension keeps both brushes in constant contact with the surface, so you don’t need to press down hard or make multiple passes.

Portability & everyday carry
We built the pocket lint roller to live in spaces where a traditional lint brush won’t fit. The slim profile slides into a blazer’s interior pocket without creating a bulge, and the rounded edges prevent snagging on fabric linings. Frequent travelers keep one in a toiletry bag alongside travel-size deodorant and a folding brush; parents stash a roller in the diaper bag next to wipes and spare onesies.
The matte-finish ABS shell resists scratches and won’t crack if dropped on tile or asphalt. Unlike adhesive lint rollers that leave sticky residue when the cap comes loose, our mechanical design stays mess-free even if it tumbles around the bottom of a tote for weeks. We’ve tested it at altitudes above ten thousand feet and in desert heat exceeding 110°F—the brushes maintain tension and the chamber seal holds.

Emptying & maintenance routine
One-hand chamber release
To empty collected debris, hold the roller in your palm and rotate the transparent chamber cap a quarter-turn counterclockwise. The internal basket slides out, and you can dump hair and lint straight into a trash can. The entire process takes five seconds—no tools, no disassembly beyond the twist cap.
Cleaning the brushes
Every two weeks, rinse the brush cartridge under warm tap water to dislodge any fine dust or fabric fibers caught between bristles. Let it air-dry completely before reinserting the cartridge into the body. We don’t recommend soap or detergent; plain water is enough to restore bristle flexibility. The nylon fibers are antimicrobial-treated to resist odor even if you’re rolling up pet dander daily.

Common questions about the pocket lint roller
Yes. The dual-brush system lifts short, stiff hairs that adhesive sheets often miss because they don’t embed deeply into fabric weave. Labs, beagles, pit bulls, and similar short-coated breeds shed hair that clings to upholstery fibers—our counter-rotating brushes pull those hairs free and trap them in the chamber. You’ll see results in one or two passes.
The internal basket holds approximately one tablespoon of compressed hair and lint. In practical terms, that’s enough capacity to clear a blazer, two pairs of dress pants, and a car seat before the chamber feels full. You’ll know it’s time to empty when resistance increases slightly during rolling. Twist the cap, dump the contents, and you’re ready for another round.
You can use it on any fabric surface—car seats, dining chairs, throw pillows, pet beds, even carpeted stair treads. The compact head makes it ideal for spot-cleaning small upholstered areas like armrests or headrests. For larger furniture like sofas or king-size beds, the full-size Chom Chom roller covers more area per stroke, but the pocket model delivers the same cleaning power in a smaller footprint.
With daily use, the nylon bristles maintain their stiffness for eighteen to twenty-four months. After that, you may notice slightly reduced pickup on dense fabrics like fleece. We sell replacement brush cartridges on our site—twist off the chamber cap, pull the old cartridge free, and snap in the new one. The body and chamber are designed to last indefinitely.
Yes. The roller contains no liquids, gels, or sharp edges, so it passes through airport security without issue. We recommend emptying the chamber before your flight to avoid spilling collected debris if the cap loosens during baggage handling. Travelers often pack it alongside toiletries in a quart-size bag for easy access during layovers.
Adhesive rollers rely on sticky sheets that lose tack after a few swipes and create ongoing waste. Our pocket roller uses mechanical brushes that never lose effectiveness and require zero refills. The brushes also work on textured fabrics like cable-knit sweaters or corduroy, where adhesive sheets struggle to conform to the surface. You save money long-term and eliminate single-use plastic waste.
You can rinse the brush cartridge under warm tap water every two weeks to remove fine dust or fabric fibers. Remove the cartridge from the body first by twisting off the chamber cap, then hold the brushes under the faucet and rotate them with your fingers. Let the cartridge air-dry completely before reassembling. The ABS plastic body is splash-resistant but not waterproof—avoid submerging the entire roller.
