ChomChom Roller – Reusable Pet Hair Remover Tool
We designed the ChomChom Roller to tackle pet hair on furniture, car seats, and bedding without batteries, sticky sheets, or refills. The patented dual-brush system lifts embedded fur from fabric in seconds using simple back-and-forth strokes.

Our roller uses two counter-rotating brush panels inside a hard-shell housing. When you push the ChomChom forward, one brush engages the fabric and pulls fur into the chamber. The return stroke activates the second brush, doubling the pickup with every pass.

Materials & Construction
We build the ChomChom Roller from impact-resistant ABS plastic. The housing snaps together without screws, making it simple to disassemble for deep cleaning. The brush panels feature dense nylon bristles molded into a rigid core that won’t warp or bend under pressure.
The handle is contoured to fit your palm during extended sessions. We textured the grip surface to prevent slipping, even when your hands are damp or you’re working at awkward angles on a couch back.

Best Surfaces & Use Cases
The ChomChom Roller excels on mid-weight fabrics like microfiber, cotton blends, velvet, and standard auto upholstery. You’ll get excellent results on couches, armchairs, car seats, throw blankets, and comforters.
What It Handles Easily
Short-haired breeds like beagles and Labradors leave dense, fine fur that clings to fabric. The dual-brush system pulls these hairs from deep pile in one or two passes. Long-haired cats and dogs shed strands that tangle in cushion seams—the ChomChom’s bristles reach into crevices and extract matted clumps without snagging the weave.

Common Questions About the ChomChom Roller
Yes. The dual-brush system lifts embedded fur from low-pile carpet, area rugs, and carpet runners. For plush or shag carpets, you may need multiple passes to reach hair deep in the fibers. The roller works best on surfaces where the fabric weave is tight enough for the bristles to engage individual hairs.
That depends on shedding volume and surface area. A heavily furred couch might fill the chamber in one cleaning session. For lighter jobs like a throw blanket or car seat, you can usually complete the task before the chamber is full. You’ll see hair accumulating through the clear window—empty it when it reaches the fill line.
It’s possible but awkward. The ChomChom requires firm, even pressure against a stable surface. You’ll get better results if you lay the garment flat on a table or bed and roll over it there. For quick touch-ups while dressed, a small fabric brush or sticky roller is more practical.
The nylon bristles are durable and designed for years of use. If you clean the roller regularly and avoid dragging it over abrasive surfaces like concrete, the brushes should maintain their stiffness. We offer replacement brush panels if you eventually notice reduced pickup after hundreds of sessions.
Yes. The brush system doesn’t distinguish between human and animal hair. It lifts any fiber that protrudes from the fabric surface. If you share furniture with long-haired family members, the ChomChom will pick up those strands along with pet fur.
Real leather and most faux-leather surfaces are too smooth for the bristles to engage effectively. Pet hair sits on top of leather rather than embedding in a weave, so a damp cloth or rubber glove usually works better. The ChomChom is optimized for fabric with texture—microfiber, cotton, polyester blends, and similar materials.
You can disassemble the roller and wash the brush panels and waste chamber under running water. We don’t recommend submerging the entire assembled unit, since water can get trapped in the internal mechanism. A quick rinse of the individual components every few weeks keeps everything clean and functional.
