Chom Chom Roller – Reusable Lint Roller for Dog Hair
We designed the Chom Chom Roller to solve the single biggest frustration pet owners face: sticky lint rollers that run out of sheets at the worst possible time. Our patented roller uses no adhesives, no batteries, and no replacement refills – just roll back and forth across any fabric surface, and watch embedded dog hair, cat fur, and lint disappear into the built-in waste compartment.

Our roller uses two counter-rotating brush drums covered in micro-bristles that lift and trap hair as you move the tool back and forth. When you push the roller forward, the front drum spins and channels fur into the waste chamber; when you pull back, the rear drum engages and continues capturing whatever the first pass missed. This bi-directional design means you never break your rhythm or lift the tool off the surface mid-cleaning.

Cleaning & maintenance
Empty the waste compartment after every one or two furniture pieces to keep the roller running at peak efficiency. Press the release latch on the side of the body, swing the chamber door open, and tap the collected fur into your trash can. If fine dust or dander clings to the bristles, rinse the entire roller assembly under warm tap water and shake off the excess – the nylon bristles dry in minutes and won’t warp or shed.
We recommend a quick rinse every two weeks if you’re using the roller daily, or whenever you notice the bristles starting to mat. Never submerge the handle grip, since water can seep into the seams and take longer to evaporate. The ABS plastic body wipes clean with a damp cloth if you need to remove surface smudges or paw prints.

Best surfaces for the Chom Chom Roller
Upholstery & bedding
The roller excels on medium-weave fabrics like microfiber sofas, cotton duvet covers, and polyester throw blankets. Roll in overlapping passes across cushions and pillows, applying light to moderate pressure – you’ll see hair lift away in visible clumps. For tightly woven fabrics like twill or canvas, two or three passes in alternating directions usually clear embedded fur.
Car interiors
Our compact footprint fits easily into door pockets and center consoles, making the Chom Chom Roller a favorite for detailing car seats and floor mats between washes. The tool works on cloth upholstery, carpeted floor mats, and even the fuzzy texture of rear cargo liners. Keep one roller in your vehicle year-round so shedding season doesn’t leave your interior looking like a kennel.

Questions about the Chom Chom Roller
Yes – the dual-brush system captures fine undercoat from breeds like Huskies and German Shepherds as well as coarse guard hair from Labradors and Terriers. Short-haired breeds shed just as much as long-haired dogs, and our bristles grip both equally well. You may need an extra pass or two on fabrics heavily coated with dense undercoat, but the roller handles every shedding scenario we’ve tested.
That depends on your pet’s shedding level and the surface you’re cleaning. A heavily furred sofa might fill the chamber after one or two cushions, while a lightly dusted throw blanket may take several passes before you need to empty. We recommend checking the chamber through the clear window on the side – when you see it’s about three-quarters full, pop it open and dump the contents. Emptying takes five seconds and keeps the roller running at peak efficiency.
The Chom Chom Roller is designed for fabric surfaces, not hard flooring. The bristles need a textile weave to grip and channel hair into the chamber – on smooth floors, the roller will simply push loose fur around rather than capturing it. For hardwood, tile, or laminate, we recommend a microfiber dust mop or a vacuum with a hard-floor attachment.
Use a lighter touch on delicate weaves to avoid snagging. The nylon bristles are soft enough for everyday upholstery, but velvet, raw silk, and loose-knit throws can catch if you apply heavy pressure. Test the roller on an inconspicuous area first – if the fabric shows no pilling or pulled threads after a few gentle passes, you’re safe to clean the entire piece.
With regular rinsing and proper care, the roller should last several years. The bristles are molded into the drum assembly and won’t shed or wear down under normal use. The ABS plastic body is impact-resistant, and the chamber latch mechanism is rated for thousands of open-close cycles. We cover manufacturing defects for one year, but most customers report their rollers still performing like new well beyond that window.
Absolutely – there are no adhesives, chemicals, or electrical components that could harm curious pets. The roller operates purely through mechanical brushing action. If your dog or cat tries to investigate the tool while you’re cleaning, the bristles are soft enough that they won’t scratch or irritate skin, though we still recommend keeping the roller out of reach when not in use to prevent chewing.
We don’t recommend dishwasher cleaning. The high heat and harsh detergents can warp the plastic body and degrade the soft-grip handle over time. Instead, rinse the brush drums under warm tap water and wipe the outer casing with a damp cloth. Air-dry the roller completely before storing it, and it will stay in perfect working condition for years.
