Chom Chom Roller – Reusable Lint Roller for Cat Hair
We built the Chom Chom Roller to solve one frustrating problem: traditional sticky lint rollers waste money and fill landfills. Our patented two-way rolling system captures embedded cat hair, dog fur, and lint in seconds—no batteries, no refills, no single-use sheets.

Our dual-action bristle system is the heart of the Chom Chom Roller. When you roll in either direction, nylon bristles sweep fur and lint into the internal waste chamber. The bristles are angled to lift embedded hair from fabric fibers without pulling or damaging delicate upholstery.

Materials & construction
We manufacture the Chom Chom Roller from high-impact ABS plastic that withstands daily use without cracking or warping. The roller drum itself is injection-molded for consistent bristle placement—every bristle sits at the precise angle needed to capture fine cat hair and coarse dog fur alike.
The waste chamber features a transparent window so you can see when it’s time to empty. All moving parts use metal pins and springs rated for 50,000+ cycles. We avoid cheap snap-fit mechanisms that fail after a few months.

Best surfaces for cat hair removal
The Chom Chom Roller excels on upholstery fabrics where cat hair embeds deeply. Microfiber couches, linen bedding, and fleece blankets respond especially well to the dual-action bristles. You’ll see immediate results on car seats, where static cling makes traditional lint rollers ineffective.
We recommend using short, overlapping strokes on clothing and longer continuous passes on furniture. For stubborn fur buildup, roll over the same area three to four times in alternating directions. The bristles penetrate deeper with each pass.

Common questions about the Chom Chom Roller
Yes. The nylon bristles are designed to lift both long and short pet hair from fabric surfaces. Short hair actually releases more easily than long strands because it doesn’t tangle in upholstery fibers. You’ll see effective pickup on furniture, bedding, and clothing regardless of your cat’s coat length.
For very fine undercoat fur, we recommend using shorter strokes with moderate pressure. The bristles need contact with the fabric to grip hair, so pressing too lightly reduces effectiveness.
Most customers empty the chamber after cleaning two to three furniture pieces. The transparent window shows fill level, so you’ll know when performance starts to drop. Hair compacts inside the chamber, giving you more capacity than the size suggests.
If you’re tackling heavy shedding season or a neglected couch, you might empty it twice in one cleaning session. The release button makes emptying quick—just pop it open over a trash can.
Absolutely. The roller works exceptionally well on car upholstery, floor mats, and cargo area carpeting. Many customers keep one in their vehicle specifically for pre-trip cleanups. The compact size fits in door pockets or under seats.
For car headliners and tight spaces around seat belts, angle the roller and use short strokes. The bristles are gentle enough that they won’t scratch plastic trim or damage leather stitching.
The Chom Chom Roller is safe for most everyday fabrics including cotton, polyester, microfiber, and durable knits. We’ve tested it extensively on upholstery-grade materials without causing pulls, snags, or damage.
For delicate items like silk, vintage textiles, or loosely-woven knits, we recommend testing on an inconspicuous area first. The bristles are designed for durability and may be too aggressive for fragile fabrics. Standard adhesive lint rollers are gentler for truly delicate garments.
Our rollers are built for years of daily use. The ABS plastic housing and metal internal components are rated for 50,000+ cleaning cycles. Most customers report using the same unit for two to three years before considering a replacement, and many continue well beyond that.
Bristle wear is minimal because the self-cleaning action prevents debris buildup. If bristles do flatten over time, we offer replacement roller drums. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects for the lifetime of the product.
Yes. The dual-action bristles are specifically engineered to reach embedded fur that vacuums and adhesive rollers miss. For heavily embedded hair, roll over the same area three to four times in alternating directions. Each pass works the bristles deeper into the fabric.
If you’re dealing with months of accumulated hair, start with a vacuum to remove the surface layer, then use the Chom Chom Roller for embedded strands. The combination delivers the deepest clean.
You can rinse the entire unit under warm running water if bristles accumulate oils or residue from fabric softener. Shake out excess water and let it air-dry for 30 minutes before next use. The materials won’t rust, corrode, or degrade from occasional washing.
For routine maintenance, simply empty the waste chamber after each use. The self-cleaning bristle action keeps the roller functional without washing in most cases.
